Truck shortages get worse
Massive border backups and truck shortages hit Aid, Commercial, and Agriculture in Ukraine.
Russian focus on blocking seaports and targeting fuel depots are causing shortages of trucks for international and domestic use. This combined with diesel being diverted for spring planting season as well as military use is causing shortages and continued rationing. Agriculture exports that would typically travel via ocean have now largely shifted to road adding to planning pain and increase in rental rates. If this was not enough recent tax breaks for Ukrainian citizens have caused a massive spike in imported vehicles (est. 15,000 via Poland every week) is helping to cause backups of up to 5 days for some trucks.
The situation remains fluid and Move One team are positioned throughout the region and will continue to update and offer alternative solutions.
